Fr Malachy Napier - "Saint Francis of Assisi and the Furnace of Charity" (Spanish)

This talk, delivered in Spanish, was given on Oct. 21, 2023 during the New York State Eucharistic Congress, held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs in Auriesville, New York.
Fr. Malachy is a priest of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal and one of 56 National Eucharistic Preachers appointed by the US Bishops for the National Eucharistic Revival. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, the second of eight children of Bill and Cynthia Napier, he joined the Community of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal in 2008, making his final vows in 2014, and being ordained to the priesthood in 2020. His first three years of priesthood were in the CFRs' mission in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, where his principal work was with youth and prisoners. He earned bachelor’s degrees in English literature and Spanish from Augusta University before studying for the priesthood at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie.
